At Hillside Animal Clinic, we’re a family of passionate, dedicated animal lovers committed to the pets and people of Chino Hills and the surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to partner with you so your pet enjoys as many happy, healthy years as possible.
We’re proud to be vet-owned and vet-operated. That means every decision — from the care your pet receives to the way you’re treated — is guided by our veterinarians, not outside investors. It’s how we keep our care personal, our advice honest, and your pet’s wellbeing at the center of everything we do.
Opening Hillside Animal Clinic marks a return to the community he loves and the fulfillment of a dream that began when he was just 12 years old: to dedicate his life to helping animals and the people who love them.
Dr. Kim began his veterinary education at Konkuk University in Seoul, Korea, then moved to the United States for broader clinical training. He completed an intensive postgraduate small animal program at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in New York City, followed by clinical rotations at the University of Missouri Veterinary Teaching Hospital. After earning his California veterinary license in 1998, he practiced in Hollywood before founding an Animal Clinic in Chino Hills in 2004, where he served as a trusted family veterinarian for 20 years.
In 2021, Dr. Kim entered semi-retirement: balancing practice, volunteering, and teaching at his alma mater. Now he returns to Hillside Animal Clinic, where compassionate, personalized care and lasting client relationships remain at the heart of everything he does.
Dr. Kim is married with two children and shares his home with three beloved dogs—Bella, Beau, and Kome. Outside the clinic, he enjoys world history and golf.
Dr. Erin G. Park is a veterinarian licensed in California and South Korea, with years of experience in small animal medicine, diagnostics, and client-centered care. Having practiced in both countries, she is passionate about combining advanced veterinary medicine with clear communication and a personalized approach that helps pets live healthier, happier lives.
After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Gyeongsang National University in 2018, Dr. Park completed the PAVE program through the University of Georgia in 2020, then returned to South Korea to gain extensive clinical experience and establish her own animal clinic. She later relocated to California, practicing as an associate veterinarian before opening Hillside Animal Clinic.
Her clinical interests include internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, dentistry, preventive care, and diagnostic imaging such as echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound. She is also USDA-accredited, with extensive experience providing international health certificates and travel consultations for pets. She believes exceptional care begins with accurate diagnosis, thoughtful client education, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient and family.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Park enjoys exploring Southern California with her husband and their three young children. She is honored to serve the Chino Hills community and looks forward to caring for your pets as if they were her own.
